How to use True Calm
True Calm is a palatable powder that most dogs take happily with their food. Here's how to get the best from it:
With wet food: Sprinkle the correct number of scoops directly onto your dog's meal and stir in gently. The powder blends in easily and most dogs won't notice it's there.
With dry food (kibble): Add a small splash of warm water to the bowl first, then sprinkle the powder on top and mix through. This helps the powder stick to the kibble rather than settling to the bottom.
When to give it:
- For everyday calm: Give once daily with their main meal, ideally in the morning. Consistency is key — the ingredients build up to support balanced behaviour over time.
- For stressful events: Give 30–60 minutes before a known trigger such as fireworks, thunderstorms, car journeys, vet visits, or guests arriving. You can give this in addition to their daily dose if needed.
- For anxious dogs: Start with the daily dose for at least 2 weeks to allow the calming ingredients to take effect. Many owners notice a difference within the first few days.
Tips:
